Ainslie belongs to a group called HopeKids which is based in Phoenix. It is a wonderful, free, program designed to provide kids with cancer or special needs, something to keep them happy and to look forward to. It is for their families as well. We signed her up a few months ago in the hopes of being able to attend some activities that will bring a smile to her face. We have been able to attend a few plays at the Herberger- ANNIE and Hairspray. We have also attended a baseball game. They do all sorts of things from crafts to prayer groups, pro-sports and free movies, and so much more!!! It is an amazing program and although we do not get to attend very many of their events, we want to help keep this program running.
In October, on the 23rd, our family will be walking in the 5K Hopewalk fundraiser to benefit HopeKids. We would love it if you could help us meet our goal of $250 dollars. We really want to try and raise more- the top 3 fundraisers receive a prize, but if we can get to the $250 we will be so excited to know that we have helped this program. Also, if you know of a company that would like to donate that would be great as well!
