FUN FUN FUN!! #3 (Make-A-Wish)

On Monday, we took the kids to the Wild Animal Kingdom.  So FUN!  We had great weather- a bit overcast which is great for the zoo because the animals all come out!  The kids loved the Safari  and we did it a few times and got to see sooooo many of the animals- Brecken especially got a kick out of the animals :)
This is the tree of life at the entrance of the zoo.  Hard to see, but there are animals in the trunk of the tree. Really cool to look at in person- the pic just doesn't do it justice:)

McKyrie and Ainslie ready for the Safari!!

Brecken really got a kick out the animals- he liked sitting on Nick's lap so he could see out at everything.

CROCS!!! AHHHHH run! SNAP SNAP :)
Before we got to Florida, we told the girls that alligators were everywhere and they would eat them- they knew we were joking but they still didn't like the crocodiles.

Loved this Giraffe- she almost walked right up to our safari truck- but she stopped to eat this tree.  They have 2 different types of Giraffes at this zoo- could not totally tell them apart, but they are really graceful and pretty.

The rhinos were funny- they walked by the Lions and got them all rialed up- I think the Lions were hungry- it was almost as if the Rhinos knew that and kept walking by lol!

These are the Lions- they wouldn't look at me because they were so intent on the Rhinos :)

We saw a ton of other animals as well- it was really cool how you could just go out on the "range" and see all of them in their own habitat.  They had these special barriers that kept certain animals away from each other- the Lions especially haha- but otherwise, it didn't feel like you were in a zoo- more like you were on a safari, which I guess is the whole idea!

The entrance to the kiddy land at the zoo- Ainslie of course LOVED the dinosaur.  This pic cracks me up because they look soooo small.  There were a lot of fun rides in this area- they picked this really spinny one that was fun and we did it a few times.

Face painting- is there anything better when you are a little girl?  Ainslie got to get hers for free because she was a Wish kid, so we only had to pay for McKyrie.  I am telling you Make-A-Wish thought of everything- how awesome!!!!

McKyrie's design was called "sweet-cheeks".  They really were sweet!

It really was fun being there at Christmas time- everything was decorated for the holiday.  The girls and I gave this HUGE snowman a BIG hug- so fun!  I was really grateful to get this time with my kids...it was a great family time and we had a lot fun together.

Nick and the girls flexing their muscles in front of another dinosaur :)

Sisterly Love!

The zoo really was a lot of fun, it was nice and relaxing. We didn't get to all the animals due to the fact that we slept in and the zoo closed at 5...we got lazy I guess.  Nick and Ainslie went on this roller coaster called "Everest"  they got off all excited and told me it really wasn't bad.  Ainslie really wanted me to ride with her again, so I agreed.  THEY WERE TRICKING ME!! :)  The ride was crazy!!  It went straight up then stopped and the lights went off and you went backwards in the dark....wow was it scarey...but fun!

There are not too many pictures of Brecken because he slept a lot of the time- poor guy!  He spent his life in the stroller this whole trip!!
